Person taken to hospital after water rescue in Fuquay-Varina

FUQUAY-VARINA, NC (WTVD) -- One person was taken to a hospital Wednesday after authorities responded to a drowning call off Bent Creek Drive in Fuquay-Varina.

The Wake County Sheriff's Office said the person was alive when transported.

There is no update on the person's condition.
