Vice President Biden stops in North Carolina

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Vice President Joe Biden is coming to South Carolina and North Carolina to talk about the importance of investing in infrastructure.

Biden's office said Saturday he will visit Columbia and Charleston, as well as Charlotte, North Carolina, on Wednesday and Thursday.

Time, dates, and locations for Biden's visits have not been announced.

Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx will join Biden in his tour. Foxx was mayor of Charlotte before he was selected to serve in President Barack Obama's Cabinet.
