
DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Two people were arrested following a deadly Durham shooting.
The incident occurred shortly after noon on Monday in the 600 block of South Alston Avenue. Officers responded to reports of gunfire and later confirmed that the juvenile victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities identified two suspects. Donnel Stanford, 18, of Raleigh, was arrested and charged with murder, and a 16-year-old was also arrested in connection with the homicide. Their identity is not being released due to their age.
The investigation remains ongoing, with additional charges and arrests possible.
