Carrboro Police investigating homicide

CARRBORO, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Carrboro Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation on Thursday afternoon.

Investigators are working on Cedarwood Lane. People are asked to avoid the area.

This appeared to be an isolated incident, police said, and there is not believed to be an ongoing threat to the public.
