2 killed in Siler City mobile home fire under investigation

SILER CITY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Two people were killed in a Siler City mobile home fire.

Authorities were called Thursday morning just before 1 a.m. to a reported structure fire. Upon arrival, crews found a single-wide mobile home engulfed in flames.

Two people were found dead inside the home, the fire department confirmed. Their identities have not been released.

The fire remains under investigation.
