

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WTVD) -- In Goldsboro, two men were charged in connection with a shooting that happened last week.
Officers responded on July 23 to the 800 block of East End Circle after getting a ShotSpotter alert.
Investigators developed Jaimear Tyshawn Lofton, 18, of Goldsboro, and Caleb Antonio Maye, 20, of Garner, as suspects.
On Thursday, officers found Lofton at a home in the 400 block of Charles Street, where he was taken into custody.
Maye was later served with arrest warrants by the Wake County Sheriff's Office.
They were both charged with discharging a weapon into occupied property, possession of a firearm by a felon and discharging a firearm within city limits.
Both men are being held without bond.
The incident remains under investigation.
