Arrest made in 2nd suspicious fire at Cumberland County building in same month

Investigation underway after suspicious fire at Fayetteville store

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- An arson investigation is underway in Cumberland County after deputies responded to a fire at Blue Sky Family Feed late Thursday night.

Firefighters found the store's front door broken, and surveillance video showed a man entering the store, pouring an ignitable liquid on a pallet of firewood, and leaving. No animals were harmed.

Deputies located and arrested Larry Ezella Baldwin, 53, of Fayetteville, who faces charges of burning an unoccupied commercial structure, breaking and entering, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He is held at the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $20,000 secured bond and is due in court on February 20.

This is the second suspicious fire at the building in a month.
