4 people shot at two different Durham housing complexes

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Durham Police are investigating after four people were shot Friday night at two locations.

Officers responded about 9:05 p.m. to the 3900 block of Dearborn Drive at the Oxford Manor housing complex in northern Durham.

They found a juvenile who had been walking outside when he was shot. He was taken to a hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.

A short time later, a man and another juvenile arrived at a hospital with gunshot wounds.

One of those victims had what were considered life-threatening injuries, but DPD did not specify whether it was the man or the boy.

DPD did not say whether there was a motive or any suspects.

The investigation remains under active investigation.

In another late evening shooting, DPD said officers responded just before 10:40 p.m. to the Cornwallis Road public housing complex in the 2500 block of S Roxboro Street, where a man had been shot.

His injury was considered non-life-threatening.

No other details were immediately released about that shooting.
