4 now charged in fatal Wake Forest stabbing

WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WTVD) -- Wake Forest police have charged three more suspects in connection with the fatal stabbing of 21-year-old Edgar Hardison.

Police said they found Hardison stabbed in the early morning of Nov. 22 in a parking lot in the 10500 block of Ligon Mill Road. He was taken to WakeMed where he later died of his injuries.

Police charged 19-year-old Jonte Tyvon Wall with murder Tuesday.

Wednesday, three others were taken into custody. Each of the following was charged with murder:


  • Leondra Montel Perry-Yarborough, 17, of Franklinton

  • Carlos Raymont Cannady, 22, of Franklinton

  • Alexander Malik Morris, 18, of Youngsville

All four suspects are being held at the Wake County Jail.

Police have said they believe the stabbing was not a random act, but they have not said what led up to the incident.

Their investigation is continuing.
