Four adults charged in Robeson County crash that left woman dead

ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Four adults are facing charges in a Robeson County crash that left a woman dead.

The single-car crash happened in May on Lizzie Road.

Ta'Nyah Pittman was killed, and the driver, a juvenile, was treated for minor injuries. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol said alcohol was believed to be a factor in the crash.

North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement Division (ALE) agents said that Pittman and the driver were given a bottle of liquor and bought alcohol on two occasions from a gas station named Tiger Mart at 310 N. Walnut St. in Fairmont.

ALE agents said the two then drank the alcohol in a Robeson County park before the crash. Authorities did not release Pittman's age but said she was younger than 21.

As a result of the investigation, the following individuals have been charged:

Any'drean Cromartie, 22, of Fairview, was charged with two counts of conspiracy, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, two counts of giving spirituous liquor to a person under 21, and two counts of aiding and abetting the purchase of alcohol for a person under 21.

Islam Al-Jadi, 35, of Lumberton, was charged with five counts of giving malt beverages to a person under 21, five counts of selling malt beverages to a person under 21, and five counts of allowing violations to occur on an ABC-permitted premise.

Craig Sealy, 40, of Fairmont, was charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, two counts of aiding and abetting, two counts of giving spirituous liquor to a person under 21, and two counts of conspiracy.

Luna Blankenship, 18, of Lumberton, was charged with possession of spirituous liquor by a person under 21, and consumption of spirituous liquor by a person under 21.

As for the driver, a juvenile petition has been issued charging them with possession and consumption as well as misdemeanor conspiracy. The driver will face other charges related to the crash brought forth by the Highway Patrol.

The gas station faces a potential fine, suspension, or revocation of the business's ABC permits.
