
DUNN, N.C. (WTVD) -- A baby died and three people were hospitalized after Saturday night apartment fire in Dunn.
Crews were called to the 1000 block of East Pope Street around 10:53 p.m. for a reported apartment fire. A 911 caller reported flames coming from a window and said a firework may have entered the apartment.
Authorities confirmed three people were taken to a hospital. An infant was dead at the scene.
The fire displaced about 12 people from the four-unit apartment building. The American Red Cross is assisting those affected.
The Dunn Police Department and Harnett County Fire Marshal's Office are investigating.
