Downtown Cary gelato shop named best outside Italy by national magazine

Geluna Gelato has been named the best gelato outside of Italy by The Local Palate, a Southern food magazine. The publication featured the Cary shop in its Summer 2026 issue, calling it a must-try for gelato lovers.

Geluna Gelato opened in downtown Cary in 2022 and is located on East Chatham Street.

According to The Local Palate, standout flavors include stracciatella and sea-salt caramel, which the magazine highlighted as must-try options for customers.
