
RALEGIH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A deadly motorcycle crash is under investigation Wednesday morning in Raleigh, with another problem also reported on a major roadway.
Authorities are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash on Glenwood Avenue.
The damage to both the motorcycle and another vehicle involved appeared significant.
Details about what led up to the crash have not been released. Police have not yet identified the person who died.
The road has since reopened.

Separately, another issue is impacting drivers on Western Boulevard.
A large tree fell near the Interstate 440 Beltline just after midnight, bringing down power lines and blocking part of the roadway. ABC11 crews were first on scene as crews worked to manage the damage. A driver was caught under the fallen tree. There is no word on that person's condition.
Drivers are urged to avoid the areas if possible and allow extra travel time.
