CHATHAM COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Another person has been taken into custody following a deadly boating accident on Harris Lake that killed a 10-year-old girl.
The ABC11 I-Team has learned AnneMarie Flanigan is now charged in connection with Saturday's deadly boating accident on Harris Lake. Flanigan is the owner of the boat and is being held in custody in Moore County.
Documents reveal she is facing two felony charges related to the incident.
Late Tuesday night, the parents of Brooklyn, the West Lake Elementary fifth-grader, released a statement to ABC11 News.

Kim and Matt Carroll, the parents of the 10-year-old girl who died, issued a statement through their attorney on Tuesday.
"This past Saturday, our lives were shattered when our daughter, Brooklyn, died from injuries she sustained when she was hit by a boat while she was innocently swimming at Shearon Harris Lake. For the 10 years that she was alive, B filled our lives with joy and laughter."
"We appreciate the support that we have received from our family, our friends and even strangers. As we continue to grieve together as a family, we request privacy."
The family attorney, David Sherlin, added that Brooklyn will receive a private funeral.

Authorities say AnneMarie Flanigan is in a relationship with Quinten Kight, who prosecutors say was under the influence when he drove his boat into a group of swimmers.
A 10-year-old girl was killed and a Wake County School District Social Worker, Jennifer Stehle, was severely injured.
Authorities say they found almost 90 empty alcohol containers either on Kight's boat or outside of it.
ABC11 learned on Monday that Kight was out of jail on bond from a 2023 hit-and-run case in Moore County.
Kight, who says in this court document he's retired from the Army, allegedly hit a motorcyclist and left the victim injured on the road.
The case has been moving through the court system since 2023.
ABC11 is waiting to hear back from Moore County District Attorney Mike Hardin about the case.
We also reached out to Kight's defense attorney in that case for comment, but haven't heard back.
