
DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Durham's vacant Northgate Mall could be getting a second chance.
The former mall has been closed since 2020.
The new owner, Regency Centers, has submitted plans to the city that call for demolishing the mall.
The City of Durham told ABC11 on Thursday that the site plan calls for six commercial buildings consisting of retail and restaurant uses.
