Durham Police: Missing Teen Located, Safe

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Durham police say a 16-year-old who was last seen nearly a week ago has been found.

Investigators say Kenneth Wayne Williams Jr., 16, was last seen August 18 on Cherry Creek Drive.

He was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.

Investigators said he was known to frequent the McDougald Terrace and East Durham areas.

Sunday evening, police announced that Williams had been located, and was okay.
