RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Southeast Raleigh is buzzing with entrepreneurial energy.
Hosted by Southeast Raleigh Promise, small business owners will gather Tuesday for the first-ever Rock Quarry Road Corridor Small Business Alliance networking event. It aims to connect and support entrepreneurs while fostering economic growth in the area around Rock Quarry Road.
Held at John Chavis Park, attendees can also engage with support organizations, including the city's Small Business Development Team, Wake Tech Small Business Center, and the Carolina Small Business Development Fund.
Some business owners say this event could help them reach new people.
"We're able to bring in more unique vendors. We're able to offer our services to different demographics that we couldn't touch into before," Jawari Boyd, co-founder of Juiced, said.
It is happening from 6 to 8 p.m.
