Fayetteville Motor Speedway will close after 2025 racing season, property sold

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- This will be last racing season at Fayetteville Motor Speedway, according to a Tuesday announcement.

The 500-acre property where the speedway sits has been sold by the property owners for industrial/commercial use.

"We understand this is disappointing news to all those who have enjoyed coming here. A lot of people have loved and supported the track for decades," the announcement made by promoters David Mitchell and Shay Martin said. "We would like to thank you for your support over the past 6 seasons."

The last race at the track is scheduled for November 29.
