Weekend weather: cool fall days, patchy frost and rain on horizon

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- This weekend brings a mix of weather to Central NC.

Saturday looks to be nice fall day with some higher clouds moving in. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s.

However, a Frost Advisory was issued Saturday until 9 a.m. for the following counties: Person, Granville, Vance, Warren, Halifax, Forsyth, Guilford, Alamance, Orange, Durham, Franklin, Nash. Edgecombe, Davidson, Randolph, Chatham, Wake, Stanly, Montgomery, Moore, and Lee.

Frost in the Triad and Triangle, where temps are not as chilly, are expected to be patchier.

Looking Ahead

Sunday: Mostly cloudy. Temp highs in mid-60s. Lows in mid-40s.

Monday: Scattered showers. Temp highs in high 50s. Lows in mid-40s.

Tuesday: More showers. Temp highs in low 60s. Lows in mid-40s.

Wednesday: Scattered showers. Temp highs in low 60s. Lows in low 40s.
