An iconic piece of Star Wars memorabilia is up for sale, and you could be the proud owner of a jacket worn by the galaxy's most celebrated smuggler.

On March 28, Han Solo's brown leather jacket featured in Star Wars: The Force Awakens went up for auction, allowing everyone in the world a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bid on a special piece of cinematic history. Harrison Ford wore the jacket throughout his final performance of one of the most beloved silver-screen characters, and even autographed it before giving it up to benefit epilepsy research and care.

Ford donated the jacket to benefit Finding a Cure for Epilepsy and Seizures (FACES) at the NYU Langone Medical Center, reported Entertainment Weekly. The funds will be used toward epilepsy research, education and patient service.

Epilepsy is a personal cause for Ford, who revealed earlier this month that his 26-year-old daughter Georgia Ford suffers from the condition. According to NY Daily News, Ford said that FACES "have been a great service to my family."

According to EW, Ford said, "This is a cause that's near and dear to me, and unlike the cynical Han Solo, I've got a good feeling about this."

The auction is taking place at IfOnly.com, and will continue until April 11 at 6 p.m. ET | 3 p.m. PT.

But don't get your hopes up! Bids are currently over $30,000 and will continue for another 14 days.
