
DUNN, N.C. (WTVD) -- A driver is dead after a wreck involving several vehicles on Tuesday afternoon.
The crash happened during heavy rain on Interstate 95 northbound in Dunn between mile markers 72 and 73.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol said it believes a chain-reaction crash caused a pickup to slam into the back of a fuel tanker truck.
The driver of the pickup tdied at the scene.

In a nearby crash, a driver was injured after a car hydroplaned, hit the barrier and then flipped.
It also happened on I-95 in Dunn, at mile marker 77.
The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment.
