Raleigh native lands role on Hulu's 'Reasonable Doubt'

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A Raleigh native is stepping into the spotlight with a role on the hit Hulu legal drama "Reasonable Doubt."

Jaden Lucas Miller plays the younger version of a character named Ozzie, who's on trial for murder. ABC11 first met Miller in 2023 when he was a rising senior at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh.

Now, Miller is a full-time student at North Carolina A&T State University, taking classes online while his acting career takes off. He splits his time between Atlanta and Raleigh and says this role has been transformative.

"Having to be vulnerable with this character, it not only helped me grow as a person, but it helped me realize what I was going through at a young age and being around my family," Miller said. "Luckily, I have a strong support system."

Miller credited his mom and family for keeping him grounded as he navigates Hollywood -- and admits he's had plenty of "pinch me" moments.

"I just never know who I'm going to meet," he said. "Some days it's Denzel Washington! And I'm like, I guess that happened today. I'm telling my mom, 'You're never going to believe who I met today.' It's just surreal when it happens."

You can catch Miller in Episode 309, titled D'Evils, of "Reasonable Doubt," now streaming on Hulu. The series, now in its third season, was created and executive-produced by Raamla Mohamed, with Kerry Washington also serving as an executive producer.

Disney is the parent company of Hulu and ABC11.
