Lee County woman charged with death by distribution in fatal overdose case

SANFORD, N.C. (WTVD) -- A Lee County woman has been arrested in connection with a fatal overdose investigation that began in March.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office charged 42-year-old Jennifer Lynn Croper with death by distribution.

Croper appeared before a magistrate and was initially held in the Lee County Jail without bond.

Her bond has since been set at $350,000 secured.
