Larry Stogner to take part in Ice Bucket Challenge event

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Six months after Larry Stogner retired from ABC11, in the wake of an ALS diagnosis, Steve Daniels has checked in to see how he is doing.

Larry says he's seen no decline in his mobility, but ALS is taking his voice and affecting his speech and he has some swallowing and breathing issues that will get worse.

Larry would like to see you at an ALS Association Ice Bucket Challenge event on Friday at 7 p.m. at Midtown Park on Park at North Hills Street in Raleigh.
