
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- A man is dead after police said he was shot Friday evening in Fayetteville and now his son-in-law is facing charges.
Police said officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1900 block of Poplar Drive just after 5:15 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found 53-year-old Jamie Jones in the front yard with multiple gunshot wounds. After attempted life saving measures, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jones' son-in-law Calvin Foster Jr., has been taken into custody according to police.
