Man will not be charged for vandalizing Charlotte ICE nativity scene

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WTVD) -- A Charlotte church will not pursue charges against a man caught on camera vandalizing a nativity scene.

In a video you can see the man tipping over mannequins that are part of the display.

They are dressed as ICE agents looming over Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus.

The mission-gathering church partnered with a local art collective to create the nativity.

A church official says the point is to make people think about ICE raids.

The church has since restored the display.

The official says they won't contact the authorities because nothing was broken or damaged.
