
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- A 58-year-old man dies after getting shot Monday in Fayetteville.
Just before 5:20 p.m., police officers responded to a report of shots fired along the 200 block of Waterdown Drive. They said they found a man, identified as Michael Whitfield of Fayetteville, suffering from a gunshot wound
He was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries.
