Man seriously injured in Durham drive-by shooting

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Durham police are investigating after a man was injured in a drive-by shooting on Tuesday.

Officers responded shortly after 4:45 p.m. to the 1600 block of Morehead Avenue. A man had a gunshot wound, and the preliminary investigation determined that he was shot by a passenger in a passing car.

The victim was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

No other details were immediately released.
