
VASS, N.C. (WTVD) -- Debra Long of Moore County celebrated winning a $1 million top prize from a $10 scratch-off.
Long bought her Jumbo Bucks scratch-off ticket from the Harris Teeter on U.S. 15-501 in Aberdeen.
She went to lottery headquarters in Raleigh on Wednesday to collect her prize.

Given the choice of an annuity of $50,000 over 20 years or a lump sum of $600,000, she chose the lump sum.
After taxes, Long took home $430,503.
The Jumbo Bucks game debuted in August 2024 with eight $1 million top prizes. Three $1 million prizes remain to be claimed.
