UNC Health Rex NICU nurses find adorable Halloween costumes for their littlest patients

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- As an unofficial holiday tradition, UNC Health Rex's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Raleigh helped their NICU babies find the perfect Halloween costumes.

The team shared adorable photos of NICU babies dressed in a variety of costumes for Halloween week.

Two babies are dressed as the popular couple, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

Other NICU babies are dressed as Spider-Man, the Little Mermaid, Woody from the Toy Story franchise, ladybugs, lions, bats, and more.

NICU babies remain in the hospital for weeks or longer before going home, so parents see the festive activity as a welcoming and festive distraction during long hospital stays.
