Men charged after fight, shots fired inside Wilson Walmart appear in court

WILSON, N.C. (WTVD) -- A court hearing was held Monday for two men charged after shots were fired inside a Walmart in Wilson.

Police said Ashton Pittman, 19, got into a fight with someone inside the store on Christmas Eve, and shots were fired.

A third customer, Jordan Battle, then allegedly fought Pittman before another shot was fired.

Other customers intervened and disarmed Pittman.

Both men were charged with attempted first-degree murder.

A judge set Pittman's bond at $1 million. Meanwhile, Bond for Battle was set at $500,000.

Both men were also banned from Walmart property.
