Two men face charges after a reported shooting at a Burlington home early Saturday.
The City of Raleigh is responding after the weekend chaos caused by thousands of teens gathering in Glenwood South and Brier Creek.
Raleigh Police Chief Rico Boyce urges city leaders to enact a youth curfew and said RPD was surprised by the number of firearms found among teenagers.
Raleigh police said 3,000 teens were at Brier Creek and about 5,000 were in Glenwood South when fights led to gunfire.
The justices said Tuesday they will take up appeals asking the court to strike down bans on the AR-15 and similar semiautomatic firearms in Connecticut and the Chicago area.
