Cary student hit by car driven by another student in front of school

CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Two students from Panther Creek High School were involved in an accident Tuesday morning.

Cary Police said a student who was driving hit another student walking across McCrimmon Parkway in front of the school about 7 a.m.

Investigators said the student on foot was not using the designated crosswalk.

The pedestrian was taken to a hospital for evaluation. A police spokesperson told ABC11 that the teen suffered minor injuries and was expected to recover.

Police said the driver was not hurt.

No charges will be filed, police said.
