
RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Three people were injured in a stabbing at a Raleigh homeless encampment Wednesday night, according to police.
Officers responded to the 1409 block of South Wilmington Street for a reported stabbing and found three people suffering from stab wounds.
Investigators identified one of the injured individuals as the suspect, 60-year-old Carl Moody. Police said Moody and the two other victims were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities said Moody remains under medical care.
Warrants have been obtained charging Moody with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
The investigation is ongoing.
