
RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Wake County Sheriff's Office is hiring and will host a career fair Thursday, April 9, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wake County Public Safety Center on Salisbury Street in Raleigh.
The event will focus on hiring deputies, detention officers and registered nurses.
Attendees can learn about job responsibilities and requirements, speak with current detention officers and registered nurses, and participate in on-site interviews and application assistance.
Detention officer hires are eligible for a tiered sign-on bonus of up to $5,000.
Applicants should bring a valid ID.
