
RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Raleigh Police Department has moved its headquarters.
RPD announcing Thursday that its Downtown and Hospitality District has relocated from 218 W. Cabarrus Street to 111 W, Hargett Street.
As part of this transition, the department's headquarters, including the police chief's office, will also move to the Hargett Street location.

Officials said the move is to improve coordination, streamline operations, and enhance collaboration among command staff.
Additionally, RPD's ACORNS Unit has moved from 111 N. Boylan Ave. to the North District at 6716 Six Forks Road.
