FORT BRAGG, N.C. (WTVD) -- The search continues for Specialist Sayveon Anderson, a Fort Bragg soldier who has been missing for more than two weeks. Anderson, 25, was last seen around 6 a.m. on June 29, according to his family.
As the days pass, the military community across the Sandhills has rallied to help find him, sharing his photo and spreading the word in hopes of bringing him home.
"I just want him home. I want him home," said Pamela Anderson, Sayveon's mother, who described the pain of not knowing her son's whereabouts as overwhelming. "I am hurting; I'm not okay when I say I'm okay, I'm lying."
Anderson said she continues to stay strong for her other two children, but the hardest moments come when she is alone. "I do my major breakdowns at night when I'm by myself in a bed or when I'm taking a shower, when it's her, that's when I really break because I don't want them to see me."

The last time Anderson spoke to her son was two days before his disappearance, on June 27.
Before he went missing, Anderson was arrested by Fayetteville police on June 25 on allegations of trespassing at a hotel on Skibo Road.
Court records show he was released the next day, June 26th, into the custody of an Army first sergeant.
Anderson has served two deployments, most recently to Germany in 2024.
Anderson says her son struggled with mental health and, after his last deployment, was seeking help.
Support from the military community has been unwavering. "We all out here looking for him. We all given out different information that we get and we pass it on," said Everett Lyles, a disabled veteran with American Legion Post 525.
Anderson said the support has given her strength. "I'm so overwhelmed and thankful for the support, especially the military moms. The military moms, they are just the best. These women reached out to me. I don't know these people. They are strangers, and they send me the most beautiful prayers."
The family is urging anyone with information about Anderson's whereabouts to contact authorities.
They are also organizing a community search this Sunday, starting at 9 a.m. at Veterans Park.
