DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- A Durham woman won a $250,000 grand prize in a Feb. 4 North Carolina Education Lottery Multiply The Cash Second Chance drawing.

Jamel Haywood collected her winnings at lottery headquarters in Raleigh this week. After state and federal tax withholdings, she took home $180,025.

Haywood was the lucky winner in a drawing with more than 58 million total entries.

Players got a second chance with their Multiply the Cash scratch-off tickets by scanning them into their lottery accounts, where they were automatically entered into the drawing.
