
DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Durham Police are investigating after a teen was killed and one other person was seriously injured in a shooting Wednesday night.
Officers responded shortly before 8 p.m. to the 1000 block of Sherwood Drive. They found one man who had been shot. He was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, DPD said.
A little while later, someone told officers that a second victim, a 17-year-old boy, had also been shot but was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle. He later died from his injuries.

Several apartments and cars were also reportedly struck by gunfire, police said.
Investigators continue to work the scene.
