2 in custody after report of shots fired outside Triangle Town Center

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Raleigh Police are investigating after receiving reports of shots fired outside Triangle Town Center on Wednesday afternoon.

It happened just before 3:30 p.m.

Police said no victims have been reported, but two people are in custody.

The two were arrested after they crashed into a utility pole at South Main Street and Highway 98 in Wake Forest.

No other details were immediately released. The incident remains under investigation.

Power crews were dispatched to repair the power pole, a process expected to take several hours.

A stretch of South Main Street is closed near Cimarron Parkway. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
