DURHAM, N.C. -- - Kickoff for Duke's home game against Tulane on Saturday will be 90 minutes later than scheduled due to severe weather in the area.

The Blue Devils were due to host the Green Wave in a 3:30 p.m. game on a hot afternoon in North Carolina. But stadium security closed the gates and cleared Wallace Wade Stadium roughly an hour before kickoff due to impending arrival of stormy weather.

Duke later announced gates had re-opened and kickoff was set for 5 p.m.

The Blue Devils are coming off winning their first outright Atlantic Coast Conference championship since 1962, though that 9-5 season included a 34-27 loss at Tulane last September.
