Water main break causes sink hole, shuts down Cameron Street in Village District

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Cameron Street is closed because of a massive sinkhole and water main break in Raleigh.

Raleigh Police said the street reopened around 5 p.m.

The sinkhole is between Daniels Street and Woodburn Street in the Village District.

The sinkhole has been filled, but crews will return Tuesday morning to do some paving.

The whole road will not be closed while that work takes places, Raleigh Police said.
