Power outage in Morrisville leaves more than 8,500 without electricity

MORRISVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- A power outage in Morrisville left more than 8,500 customers without electricity Saturday.

Duke Energy Progress said the outage was caused by damage to their transmission lines.
