Raleigh mom accused of cold weather punishment

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A Raleigh mother is charged with misdemeanor child abuse for allegedly forcing a child out into cold weather as a punishment.

According to an arrest warrant, 29-year-old Fredria Tequilla Murray "...kicked a child out of the residence in 43 degree weather for over an hour."

The child is 12 years old.

Bond was set at $5,000.
