Man killed in Raleigh shooting identified

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A 54-year-old man was killed in Raleigh early Sunday morning.

Police were called to the 1800 block of Cantwell Court around 4:15 a.m. There, they found Ricky Jay Wright in a parking lot on Lehman Lane.

Wright was taken to WakeMed where he died from his injuries.

Detectives are especially interested in speaking with anyone who was in the area at the time of the shooting and witnessed any activity there.
