RALEIGH (WTVD) -- The Raleigh Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying suspects in 3 burglaries at tobacco shops.

Two of the burglaries were at the same location.

Police said on May 24, there was a break-in at Jokers Smokes store at 6111 Capital Boulevard. On July 1 and July 25, the Mr. Tobacco store at 1811 New Hope Church Road was burglarized.

Each time the suspects stole cartons of cigarettes. Police said they aren't sure if it's the same people, but they said there are "sufficient similarities to believe they form a pattern."

The suspects were dressed heavily to disguise their appearances. Two vehicles were captured on surveillance cameras. One is a tan or silver Chevy or GMC pickup truck and the other is a light-colored Mercedes Benz sedan.

Anyone with information that might assist the investigation of the incident is asked to call Raleigh CrimeStoppers at (919) 834-HELP or visit raleighcrimestoppers.org for text and email reporting options. CrimeStoppers pays cash rewards for anonymous tips that help solve cases.
