Scotty McCreery goes coastal for latest video
Garner native and "American Idol" winner Scotty McCreery released his new video Friday, which was shot on the Outer Banks. The singer tweeted out a link Friday afternoon and thanked the video's director and the Outer Banks Visitors Bureau.
McCreery's new ode to summer, "Feelin' It," was filmed in and around Nags Head and features the singer and his friends cruising down Highway 12 and stopping at famous landmarks including the Bodie Island Lighthouse, Jennette's Pier, Kitty Hawk Kites and two local eateries, Dune Burger and Dirty Dick's Crab House.
Managing Director of the Outer Banks Visitors Bureau tells The Outer Banks Voice, "He and his family have enjoyed vacationing here on the OBX all his life, and it felt like a perfect fit for bringing his ode to summer to life on screen."
