Victim dies, suspect in custody after shooting leads to high-speed chase in Raleigh

RALEIGH, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Raleigh police said one man is dead after a shooting led to a high-speed chase Saturday afternoon.

Officers responded to 2608 Millborough Ct. around 3:50 p.m. where they found Ray Junior Wooten, 33, with multiple gunshot wounds.

Wooten was transported to WakeMed where he later died from his injuries, officials say.

According to police, the high-speed chase ended on Traviana Ct.

Kiyona Lashawn Brown, 36, was taken into custody at the scene. Brown remains in police custody.
