Man in hospital after shooting in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Deputies are investigating after a shooting sent a man to the hospital Sunday evening.

The Durham County Sheriff's Office said they responded to a call of shots fired around 5 p.m. in the 600 block of Goodwin Road.

Deputies said a man was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound. Authorities are still investigating and said they are interviewing witnesses and potential persons of interest.

No other information was available.
