Snoop Dogg headlining NC's Azalea Festival

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WTVD) -- Rapper Snoop Dogg has been named as this year's headliner at the annual Azalea Festival in Wilmington.

According to WWAY in Wilmington, Snoop Dogg's opening act will be Doug E. Fresh.

Tickets for the 69th North Carolina Azalea Festival are on sale Saturday for $46.50 each. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the concert is slated to begin at 7 p.m.

This year's other musical performers include the Avett Brothers and country singer Chase Rice.
